Downtown Coordinator

Following up on requests from the downtown business community, through a marketplace workshop, a Steering Committee of downtown stakeholders oversaw the work of a consultant, Rich Turer, in 2012-2013 to learn the needs of the businesses and non-profits in the downtown, and work with them to develop a plan for the future to make downtown can become more vibrant, more accessible, and more profitable in all seasons. After establishing his office in the downtown, Rich coordinated studies, conducted workshops, worked with community leaders, and interviewed business and non-profit owners and staff.
